Junk and Munk of a Whole Chunk (2/21/2024, heads-up this is a shorter one)

 Sooooooo...What's going on? it's Qphex. new update which might be a short one
i released a new EP on feburary 4th, added some new tracks and alternate mix of another track but i also have started to get into a DND like star wars game which tbh i am liking quite a lot and they do plan to start doing it every tuesday on during spring but for now they'll see me when they see me. anyways that aside i haven't been really working on my debut and i did make some new cover art for it with a revealed new name at this point, if you do want to see it then here it be for you to see

and there's also the fact that i have a cat piano now which means i will be doing a bradcord (brad taste in music discord) set, won't be revealing the date but just know that i have it planned and if you want you can just join and watch me as i play improvised chunez on the cat piano. NOW that is all i have to say bye.

Tumor Spit-fly (1/16/24)

hey there, it's qphex. so a little bit of news is that i will be busy with juggling with school and juggling with trying to preserve as much electricity as possible as the US happens to be under a sudden curse sent down by god to forsake us for our incredibly stupid actions, jokes aside i personally think that this fucking sucks ass and i wish i could get it out of this but it's really not that simple. on a lighter note, a song i've been obsessed with is ''Helicopters'' by Barenaked Ladies which also happens to be a band i'm trying to get myself into which i will say Maroon was a great album and was worth every minute. a song i didn't really like on the album however was probably "Falling For The First Time" and even then it's just a mild dislike because of an element that throws me off and ruins it just a tiny bit but not enough to make the song irredeemably horrible and unlistenable, with that in mind i shall change topics once again to that of school, i didn't have school on monday as it was martin luther king jr day but when i back into the gist of it and it was today there was no live classes, despite the fact that i was told that i was going to live classes they got cancelled and moved to thrusday which is dumb imo but luckily they told me it's just they didn't like notify me in the sense of "oh hey were gonna have to cancel the classes today and we are moving them to thrusday." a little heads up would be nice don't you think?... regardless i can't really complain and as per usual i'm completing everything i need to and as my school requires me to do with great efforts as my grades this year have been pretty good which was just like last year. my mom did discuss something about graduation with me so hopefully i'll actually get out for god sakes and i no longer will have to wake up every day just to do schoolwork because "my life requires the proper education" which is understandable but if it wasn't so fucking dreadful and if they didn't make me use tools meant for pre-schoolers that would be nice. i don't think they are insulting my intelligence doing this. regardless life has been decent enough to not warrant any complaints so far but something tells me that ain't gonna exactly last and something's gonna go to shit which has been happening a LOT less but still frequent. that aside you probably came for a update on the album and to say the least it's been re-branded once again with me planning to go a route of something inspired by the likes of "songs for the deaf" by a favorite band of mine, QOTSA (queens of the stone age) as i'll be going in a "radio station/FM radio" direction with the project with interludes consisting of flicking through various different radio stations and including some spoken dialogue, some may or may not contain og music by me and be entirely spoken word but i am sure this is the way i want to go with the project. and that's as much as i have to say about it, see you later and enjoy the rest of your year ya old goats & moats as well as boats.

another update on my debut

 so a few things, for one i have quite a few demos and probably more then actual songs if i'll be frank.
but aside from that i also made some new album art. that's right, i've changed it for the millionth time..again. that aside i've been working a lot more music then usual so that's good part of the news. i plan to have 20 songs on the album but i'll probably end up with more then that, which i'll save for the deluxe re-issue. i'll probably post a handful of downloads on occasion so watch out for those. i won't and don't have a determined release date but i'll try not to rush it like i did with my first attempt and i'll also try to figure out a tracklist and what songs i'll like. wish me luck on the debut. if you want some demos or whatever other music downloads i might have available then feel free to contact to me for that stuff and i'll send you whatever.
(that's if this website a private messaging feature. if not then i'll figure something out.) for now i'll TRY to casually update you guys on progress of the album, sometimes with a picture, pictures or even a video maybe. i might try using both LMMS and BandLab but i've been using BandLab a lot more so that might not happen. idk. alright then that's about it for updates on the album and i'll see you all later. thanks for reading. a bit of an update of how things are going and progress in terms of my debut

 hey there, it's twoby (known as ehjekt in terms of musical alias) i just wanted to let y'all know how it's going so far in life, i've been doing fine and school's being going pretty well. mind you i missed a few assignments but not enough to completely damage my score on some of the classes. i also have just mostly going through this whole thing where i make one song at a time and then just completely stop after that because i either can't think of what to come up with next despite wanting to make another song or i just say i will finish it but i never end up doing so meaning there's been a quite a few songs that have been completely untouched for so long that it's essentially like just having bread in a pantry of your kitchen and letting it sit there as it slowly gets moldier with each time and then you finally realize how moldy it is (and if your me, you shutter and throw it) and then you just throw it away because you can't really use it anymore therefore there's no real point in keeping it and letting it rot further (if you unironically let moldy bread stay in your closet for god knows how long you aren't allowed to speak to me, look at me, breathe towards me, sniff me, touch me, drive towards me or even be within a single inch of me, that's downright disgusting throw that nasty shit away.) but yeah enough rambling there. i plan to drop a new EP of garageband demos meaning it'll have however many tracks but just enough to make it actually clarify as a proper EP in my eyes, so look out for that when it comes out alright?. ok thanks. that's about it for now and i'll see you all later.
